The common thread isn’t the topic—it’s curiosity.

What’s New: Selective Splurging
New for 2026
One of the newest additions to the site is a recurring series called Selective Splurging.
These monthly articles focus on products, gadgets, comfort items, gifts, and everyday upgrades that genuinely seem worth considering. The goal isn’t to encourage mindless spending. Instead, it’s about finding those occasional purchases that add a little comfort, convenience, fun, or enjoyment to everyday life.
You’ll find everything from budget-friendly discoveries to premium “treat yourself” items, along with the occasional weird or unexpected find that simply looked too interesting not to share.
This section is still growing, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes.
How Recommendations & Support Work
Many websites rely heavily on display ads, pop-ups, autoplay videos, and other distractions to generate revenue. Personally, I’ve never enjoyed browsing sites packed with ads, and I don’t want to create that experience for readers here.
